My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cornelia
Cornelia is a loving girl with a big heart and the floppiest zoomies you’ve ever seen, seriously, she's a joy to watch! She’s a sweet, affectionate pup who wants nothing more than to be right next to her family, soaking up love and giving it right back.

She’s fully potty trained, treat-motivated, and does great on leash, making walks together a breeze. Cornelia is still learning her doggy manners, but she’s eager to please and responds well to positive reinforcement (especially when snacks are involved!).

Cornelia has a gentle, loving nature and would thrive in a home where she can stay close to her humans and continue building confidence. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side and make you smile daily, Cornelia is ready to meet you!

More about this rescue

At Halfway There Rescue, we are a volunteer-run organization dedicated to making a difference for animals in North and South Carolina. Our mission focuses on reducing overcrowding in local open intake shelters while promoting the importance of spaying and neutering through community partnerships. We work tirelessly to provide compassionate care, foster opportunities, and life-saving interventions for pets in need. By engaging with the community, we aim to create a future where every animal has a safe, loving home. Together, we can reduce the burden on shelters and ensure a brighter future for all.
