Chanel is a quiet, resilient mama who has clearly had a tough start in life—but you’d never guess it once she feels safe. She gave birth to her five kittens outdoors and took wonderful care of them until a kind neighbor brought the whole family into foster care.
She has a few physical reminders of her past—a tiny nub where her tail should be and a patch of regrowing hair where an old BB was removed from her back—suggesting she’s known hardship.
