My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact Caroline (caroline@kittenschool.com) for more information about this pet.

Hi, I'm Mojo! I'm a 5 month old silver tabby with huge green eyes and the sweetest personality. I came to my foster mom when I was a scared 6 week old found alone on the street and have been in foster care ever since. All that love and nurturing has made me exceptionally affectionate with people, and I am not one bit shy. I'll snuggle and give you kisses, and if you like kitty purrs you should hear mine! I'd be great in a home with kids or with other pets, because I have grown up with other cats of all ages and temperments. And if you've always wanted a lap cat, I am a rising champion in that field! My foster mom says for a kitten, I am especially gentle and like being held and cuddled.

If you think you could give me the perfect forever home, please reach out to my foster mom Caroline and tell her why. I am just about ready to get fixed and come be your buddy forever! Here's the details on my adoption:

How to meet Mojo : ***IMPORTANT*** Do not hit "reply" to this post, instead reach out DIRECTLY to my foster mom via email: Caroline@KittenSchool.com for more info and to arrange a meeting in foster home, located 5 miles south of downtown Orlando.***Please also tell us a bit about yourself, such as if you have other pets or kids. We want to make sure that I am a good match for your family!

Additional adoption info

All of the animals in our care are foster animals from Orange County Animal Services (OCAS), in other words the property of OCAS. Anyone wanting to adopt one of these animals completes an application form and it is submitted to OCAS directly. The adoption fee for OCAS kittens & cats is $40, and they run a BOGO special all year (Adopt 1 kitty get a 2nd for free)!!

The adoption fee for the OCAS kittens & cats includes spay/neuter, initial vaccinations including rabies, testing for feline leukemia, and a Microchip (ID for lost pets). The OCAS foster kittens & cats featured on this website are currently staying with their foster parent. Please contact the foster parent listed in the kitten/cat's description for more information on the kitten/cat that you are interested in. We may also have a limited number of kittens & cats that we are showing on our website as courtesy listing; their adoption fees may vary due to expenses incurred in preparing the kittens/cats for adoption.

Go meet their pets

You may visit the kittens and cats at their foster parent's homes; appointments are flexible and set at a time convenient to the potential adoptor and the foster parent. For more information or to set up an appointment, please email the foster parent listed in the description of the kitten or cat that you are interested in.

More about this rescue

Kindness For Cats Inc is a small nonprofit organization that participates in the Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) foster program providing temporary nurturing homes for at least a few of the countless kittens and cats abandoned there. We attempt to find permanent loving homes for these kittens and cats so that they will not have to return to OCAS when their time in foster care is done.

We also strongly promote spay/neuter to help fight the battle against unwanted felines, and attempt to inform the general public regarding the daunting problem of pet overpopulation.
