Female • Black Labrador Retriever • 8 Months Old Born 4/15/2025 • 37 pounds currently
Healthy • Vaccinated
Baya is a bright, joyful young Lab with a wagging tail and a heart full of happiness. At just eight months old, she’s right in that wonderful puppy stage — curious, playful, and eager to experience the world. With her shiny black coat and sweet, expressive eyes, Baya has a way of capturing attention and hearts wherever she goes.
Baya is an active, affectionate puppy who absolutely loves to play. She enjoys running, exploring, and engaging with her people, and she especially delights in snack time — fruits and veggies are some of her favorite treats! True to her Lab roots, she’s food-motivated, enthusiastic, and always ready for the next adventure. After a good play session, she’s happy to settle in for cuddles and companionship.
Labradors are known for being:
Friendly, social, and family-oriented
Intelligent and eager to learn
Energetic as puppies with calmer adulthood
Food-motivated and highly trainable
Baya is still growing and learning, and with guidance, she will mature into a loyal, well-rounded companion.
Baya’s future family should be prepared to:
Provide daily exercise, play, and mental stimulation
Commit to continued puppy training and socialization
Maintain a healthy diet and structured routine
Offer patience, consistency, and lots of love
Even though Baya is healthy, adopters should take her to their own veterinarian as soon as possible after adoption.
Puppies require time, supervision, and consistency
Labs are active and need daily physical outlets
Training is ongoing and essential at this age
Confirm landlord or HOA approval for medium/large dogs
Adoption is a lifetime commitment, not just the puppy phase
The first 3 days help Baya decompress, the first 3 weeks help her learn your routine, and the first 3 months are when trust deepens and she truly understands she’s home.
Baya is pure joy wrapped in fur. She’s playful, loving, and full of potential — ready to grow alongside a family who will guide her with patience and care. If you’re prepared for the responsibility of raising an active puppy and want a loyal companion who will fill your days with laughter and love, Baya is waiting to meet you.
