My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Violet. A smart, sweet little girl with exceptionally strong personality and a great drive to learn, we thought she’d be our little anchor in a sea of grief. We love her, we truly do! But she’s started herding my seven year old autistic daughter, who doesn’t understand what’s happening. She’s also VERY high energy and needs more than my walks can provide. Likely, she needs a hiking buddy (she’s very good on the leash!) or a large back yard with lots of sniffible areas. She loves chewing on collagen chews. She has a keen ability to learn tricks (she knows sit, stay, come, lay down, and is working on paw and her recall outdoors). She’s adored but she’s the right dog at the wrong time. I want to make sure she goes to a family that will love her and take care of her since this baby deserves a forever home. She also loves cats and other dogs, but is a little rough with my cat and a little fearful of dogs bigger than her! She comes with her food, toys, puzzles and chews!
