Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dixie is SUCH a sweet and loving girl. She would love a family with a big yard in which to play and a couch so she can snuggle with you. She gives wonderful hugs.
Dixie was born about Sept 2024 and is a 32 pound love puppy (though fully grown). We don’t know her breed… mountain cur, some small bully? We do know she is affectionate and intelligent. She is fully vetted, spayed and microchipped.
She has one problem and we DO have the solution. Dixie has a condition called Diabetes Insipidus. This is probably NOT the diabetes you are familiar with. She does not need insulin shots but she does require a twice daily pill; Desmopressin. The rescue will reimburse the adopter for her medication monthly.
She does require a secure above ground, fenced yard as she was found loose and lost once.
