Meet Alvin: A Sweet Rat Terrier Looking for a Loving Home
Alvin is an adorable 8-pound rat terrier who has overcome a challenging start to life. Confiscated from a cruelty hoarding case, this resilient 8-month-old pup is ready to find a forever home where he can thrive and be showered with love.
Alvin's Personality
Despite his early hardships, Alvin is incredibly smart and eager to learn. His friendly demeanor makes him a joy to be around, although he still needs some time to fully trust people. He enjoys the company of other dogs, but his ideal home would be one without small children, as he's still a bit wary due to his past experiences.
Special Considerations
Alvin's journey hasn't been without its bumps. He broke his leg as a baby, but it has healed completely, and he's as energetic and playful as ever. As the smallest of his siblings, Alvin's gentle nature sometimes means he gets bowled over by his sisters. This makes him particularly suited to a home where he can be the center of attention and receive the doting care he deserves.
How to Adopt Alvin
If you've fallen in love with Alvin's story and think you’d be the perfect match, we encourage you to fill out an adoption application. Once your application is approved, you can make a special request for a live video call to see Alvin in action and witness his cuteness firsthand.
By welcoming Alvin into your home, you'll not only gain a loving companion but also make a life-changing difference for a dog who has already overcome so much. Alvin is looking forward to the love and warmth of a family who will cherish him endlessly.
