If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I bought Yoshi as a kitten and she is wonderful. A few months after I brought her home my daughter moved back in with me and brought her two cats with her. The intimidated Yoshi to, I think, cause her to be afraid to use a litter box. She instead decided to use my garden tub. I have tried putting a litter box in the tub but she went around it. I tried putting water in the tub but she just went on the rug. (My daughter and her cats have moved back out). I have just been dealing with her going in the tub but recently she has started going on my hardwood floors. A few weeks ago I took her to the vet to get her shots updated and they did bloodwork and urine culture to rule out a UTI and all of that came back clear. The vet says this is either stress related or just preference. We brought a new kitten into the mix in August and they are great together and she has no problem with my lab either. I’m wondering if she would do best in a one animal home.
