My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chaya is a beautiful black domestic shorthair whom I adopted in October when she was just a tiny kitten. Because of her young age, she has not yet received her vaccinations, but by the time she is adopted, I will ensure she receives her first rounds of vaccinations. Chaya is shy at first, but once she feels safe, she becomes incredibly sweet and affectionate. She has a playful personality and loves interactive toys, especially wand toys and anything with strings, and she brings a gentle, calming presence into my life. Making the decision to rehome Chaya has been extremely difficult, as I love her deeply and cherish the time we have spent together. Unfortunately, my father has Alzheimer’s disease and is also allergic to cats, which makes it impossible for me to continue providing Chaya with a safe and stable environment. This decision comes from love and concern for her well-being, and my hope is to find her a patient, calm, and loving home where she will be cherished.
