Merry is a very sweet, gentle girl who can be a bit timid at times. She’s on the calmer, more laid-back side and prefers observing the world at her own pace. Curious yet cautious, Merry likes to take things slowly until she feels comfortable—once she does, her soft and loving personality shines through.
She’s a true couch potato who would happily choose a cozy nap over playtime any day. When it comes to priorities, food definitely wins over toys, making her very food-motivated and easy to encourage with tasty treats. Her “lazy” nature just means she’s perfectly content relaxing by your side and enjoying quiet moments together.
Merry is currently working on her house training and is improving day by day with consistency and patience. She is not crate trained yet, but with gentle guidance and positive reinforcement, she has great potential to continue learning and building confidence.

Our mission is to provide Chicagoland families with adoptable dogs from across the U.S. and provide local education and resources.
We are excited to embark on this journey as a new foster-based rescue. We are looking to create a strong volunteer base. If you are interested please fill out our volunteer application here. As a foster-based rescue we need to have committed fosters in order to rescue and save mutts that are in need, if you know you want to foster a mutt for us fill out our foster application today!
