I adopted Tucker from a customer about 2 years ago.
He was adopted by the couple I got him from. His home prior to that had several dogs and it is believed Tucker was abused. My intentions were to take him to work with me as I own my own construction company. Tucker does like short car rides but is not a fan of spending hours on the road with me and won’t eat or drink while we are gone.
-loves walks
-does well at the groomer
-possible anxiety
-won’t snuggle
-I think other dogs and cats add to his anxiety(we have cats)
-prefers to lay in his bed
- loves bones(destroys them quickly)
- will not hold it in for long periods of time if you like to sleep in and he had to much water the night before.
- great with a doggy door (we can’t use ours because of the cats)
-will lay on the couch next to me and lick my hand until I ask him to leave or a cat comes near.
-as a business owner I don’t have time to walk him consistently.
-plays well with others but try’s to defend others are rough.
