If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
He’s approximately 5–7 years old, white and gray, and came to me as what appeared to be a stray. I took him in, nursed him back to health, had him neutered. He got a dental cleaning and had some teeth pulled, and he’s now thriving. He’s been living on my porch as an outdoor cat for over three months, and has transitioned to being an indor/outdoor cat where he has a heated house and plenty of cozy spots, and he’s been so happy and content.
Scruffy is docile, affectionate, and incredibly sweet. When I let him inside, he uses the litter box perfectly, eats and drinks well, and loves nothing more than cuddling and being held. He’s very social, does great in the car in fact loves looking outside, and truly is the best little companion.
I would keep him forever if I could, but I have two resident cats who are not adjusting well now that he’s healthy tho he loves them. He deserves to be the star of the show, as he didn’t have an easy life and has adjusted so well. He even follows commands.
