Eviee was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on 12/23/25.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Eviee is a sweet Aussie Shepherd-Blue Heeler mix with a gentle, shy nature at first meeting. She may take a little time to warm up, but a few tasty treats and kind pets quickly earn her trust. Once she's comfortable, her true personality shines-smart, attentive, and eager to engage. With her herding-dog smarts, Eviee thrives on mental stimulation and loves having a "job" to do, whether that's learning new tricks, solving puzzles, or helping her people. She's a loyal companion who blossoms with patience, kindness, and purpose.

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.
