My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sage, a happy and confident two year old Chihuahua mix who brings a great mix of playful energy and sweet affection.

Sage has a fun, upbeat personality and is always ready to stay busy. She loves playing with toys, chewing on bones, and romping around with her foster brother. She plays well on her own and is good at entertaining herself until it is time for a nap.

Around the house, Sage is easy to live with. She does great in her crate and settles in quietly when left alone. She will happily chew on a bone and then fall asleep. She has hardly barked and is not destructive, which makes her a pleasant companion.

Sage is doing very well on leash and enjoys her walks. She walks nicely without pulling and is not reactive to her surroundings. Her recall is coming along well and she will come when called. She is working on sit and is treat motivated and eager to learn.

When it comes to people, Sage is all about the love. She is very affectionate, enjoys being held, and loves to snuggle up close. She greets new people with excitement and is always happy to soak up attention. She is friendly, goofy, and has a way of making everyone around her smile.

Sage would do well in a home that can keep up with her energy and give her time to play, walk, and learn. A home with another playful dog would be a great match, however, she has not been around cats and kids so we aren't positive how she would do, but think she would do well.

If you are looking for a sweet, playful, and easygoing dog who is excited to be part of a family, Sage could be the one. Apply now to meet her and see if she is the right fit for your home.

TIMELINE:
Our primary objective is to assure the correct match for the people and the pets that we’re sending to their forever homes. Our goal is to send dogs and cats home as quickly as we can, while still being thorough. Processing times will vary and are largely dependent on our ability to connect with your references, landlord, and veterinarian. To keep the process moving along, please make sure you’ve done your part:
1) Fill out your application completely - missing information slows down the process.
2) Let your references know to expect our call.
3) If you rent, let your landlord know to expect our call.
4) If you currently have pets, ask your veterinarian to be prepared to release your records.

LIFETIME GUARANTEE:
