Django ACCT-A-239990 is a handsome, big-hearted guy who was found as a stray wandering the streets, and is now searching for a home that can provide the love, structure, and training he needs to thrive. While he may be a large dog, his personality is pure sweetness. Django loves toys and balls and happily enjoys playtime, but he’s just as content soaking up pets and attention from people.
Eligible for adoption and rescue. Meet Django at ACCT Philly any day of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m

Behavior notes:
Per volunteer 12/27/2025: He looks to be in good shape, was a little hesitant to come out - smelled the leash, then, I was able to drop it over his head. He was well behaved walking thru the shelter aisles, not much interest in the other dogs, and seems housetrained.
Most of the video is inside the meet and greet room. He knows sit, he takes the treats nicely. He leans in for pets and butt rubs, and he allowed one of the adoption counselors to also pet him.
I'm not sure if playing with the ball, my excited voice, or being confined to a small room added to his stress, and that caused him to be jumpy, and pant, but it wasn't unmanageable. He goes back into his kennel with no problem.
Per staff 12/26/2025: very nervous around overhead touch. extremely food motivated allowed all handling w/ cream cheese on the door.
Per staff 12/26/2025: sweet boy lovessss cookies took very nicely
