Viridian is a lovely, busy, 12-week-old kitten, seeking his forever home!
This handsome gray guy lives his best kitten life in his foster home with his siblings. He runs around seeking new adventures, plays hard with the catnip and wand toys, and curls up in the kitten pile or on your lap when he needs some rest.
His days unfurl with eating well, jumping around and wrestling with his siblings, and enjoying every moment!
He currently lives with his five siblings in his foster home. Because of his age, he will need to go home with one of them or to a home with an active young resident cat to be his playtime companion.
Viridian needs a busy, active home with adults and/or children who love kitten shenanigans and joyful chaos! He gets along very well with people and other cats (hasn’t met a dog yet).
If you have lots of love, treats, and lap-time to give, and enjoy plenty of kitten playtime, Viridian is excited to bring all the fun to your family this winter!

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits.

What We Do
We help dogs and cats find homes with loving families through foster-based care. Every dog and cat lives with a foster family until they find their forever families. We provide all of their basic needs including proper food, veterinary care, behavior training, and supplies.
Through in-home fostering, we learn about each animal’s temperament, personality, likes/dislikes, and any medical needs. With this first-hand information, we can then find the right family for each dog and cat.
Our volunteers also educate the public on responsible companion animal care and represent respect for animals at all times. Whether we’re working with prospective new families, meeting people at public events, or socializing with friends and family, we encourage others to view and treat their pets as members of the family. We are their guardians, and they depend on us for companionship and care.
We spay/neuter prior to adoption.
We microchip all our Pet Haven Pets and remain as a secondary contact.
We make sure all pets are up to date on required vaccinations
We test for Heartworm and Lymes in all our dogs and are transparent in the results and treament
We test for FeLV/FIV and are transparent in the results. We believe that cats who test positive still deserve a chance at a quality home.
We do not euthanize animals unless they have untreatable health or behavioral conditions that deny them an acceptable quality of life or makes them a serious threat to people, other animals, or themselves.
How We Operate
We rely on adoption fees, tax-deductible donations, grants, and special events to keep our rescue operating. Our staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers have provided the passion and commitment to keep Pet Haven a safe haven for animals for almost 70 years.
We are committed to preventing pet homelessness through the SNIP Grant. Since 2005, we have granted more than $240,000 to organizations in Minnesota to support spay/neuter initiatives.
