Elliot is a gentle, sensitive sevenyearold Lab mix who has been loved his whole life. He was adopted as a puppy and recently lost his person when she moved into assisted living. He is grieving, quiet, and trying to understand a world that suddenly feels unfamiliar.
Elliot is calm, wellmannered, fully housebroken, and happiest in a peaceful home with a predictable routine. He loves going for walks, curling up in soft spots, and being near someone who makes him feel safe.
Elliot previously lived with one dog he grew up with, but new or assertive dogs make him nervous. His current foster dog does not always like him, and Elliot quietly removes himself when he feels unsure. Because of this, he needs a home without another dog or with one extremely gentle, friendly, and respectful dog who will not overwhelm him
He is a wonderful match for a retired adopter or someone with a slowpaced lifestyle who appreciates a quiet companion.
What Elliot Needs
A calm, quiet home
No other dogs, or one very friendly, easygoing dog
No chaotic environments
A patient adopter who understands sensitive dogs
Daily short walks, slow and relaxing
A fenced in yard.
