My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Henry. Ive had him since he was 4 months old, and he is currently 10 months old (DOB: 2/20/2025). He is an amazing dog with a charming, enthusiastic, independent, and very affectionate personality. Henry weighs around 17lbs and is fed twice a day. He enjoys two 30-minute walks daily and thrives on routine and attention.

Unfortunately, due to changes in my work and daily schedule, Im no longer able to provide the long-term care he deserves. Im hoping to find Henry a loving forever home, ideally with someone who has experience with Dachshunds. Im located in San Diego, CA, and am focused on finding the right fit for him.

Henry is great with other dogs both big and small and loves people, including children. He's a fast learner who responds extremely well to treats and positive reinforcement. He is housebroken, harness- and leash-trained, knows several basic commands, has worked with a professional trainner and is very eager to please. The rehoming fee is negotiable.
