Why I need a new home

Human health issues (e.g. allergies, sickness)

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Juno is a 70lb German Shepherd. She is a very smart, gentle dog. She enjoys being outside during the day and going for her evening walk in the neighborhood. She is up to date on all of her shots. She takes allergy medication but is otherwise healthy. My husband brought Juno home when he retired in 2016. She was 8-weeks old. He was her main caregiver until he fell and broke his hip. Due to Parkinson's disease, which has significantly impacted my husband's balance and ability to walk unassisted, Juno cannot move freely around the house. The majority of her indoor time is spent in her crate. I am my husband's sole caregiver, in addition to caring for Juno. Due to my husband's declining health and my upcoming surgery, we have made the difficult decision to rehome Juno. We are looking for a quiet, relaxed environment where Juno can receive lots of love and attention.
