My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I rescued Jayda almost 7 years ago, I adopted her at the Fox Valley Humane Society. She was part of a neglect and abuse case in TN. Now she’s almost 10 years old, she’s very much an alpha. She’s a sweet, cuddly, love bug that loves to lay on the couch all day. She would prefer to be the only dog in the house or with small dogs/cats.
Within the last year my boyfriend and I moved in together, he also has two large dogs. One of my boyfriend’s dogs is very much an alpha as well. Jayda and him have never gotten along together. Constantly growling and displays of dominance to each other. We try to keep them separated as much as possible but we live in a small house. When our daughter came along we were nervous of how Jayda would react with the now constant noise. Every time our daughter would cry Jayda would run off into our bedroom and non stop shake. She would be in our room for hours and never come out for hours. Our household has become to stressful for her. Please contact me with any ?
