My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Opal and Pearl are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

Hello. I’m Opal. I like to observe the world for a moment before jumping in. I’m the most reserved of my siblings, but don’t confuse that with shy. I’m sweet, friendly, and very loving once I decide it’s time.
I enjoy playtime just as much as the others, especially with spring toys and wand ribbons, but I like to watch first and plan my moves. When the fun winds down, I’m a big fan of lap snuggles and cozy naps. I cuddle happily with my brother Jasper and my sister Pearl.
Pearl and I are a bonded pair, which means we need to be adopted together. We’re very attached and bring out the best in each other. Two kittens, one adoption, double the love.
If you appreciate a kitten with a calm, thoughtful side who still enjoys play and affection, I think we’d get along beautifully.
If your heart has room to triple in size and your home can handle a little extra joy, laughter, and pawprints, adopt us Pearl and Opal together with Jasper and let the magic come as a set!

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
