Meet Lyric, a sweet melody of a cat ready to fill your home with purrs and affection. This lovely lady, estimated to be around 9 years old, has truly been coming out of her shell and blossoming more each day.
Lyric is a people-lover at heart who thrives on human companionship. She happily curls up in laps for snuggles, doesn’t mind being brushed, and rewards her people with abundant purrs. She especially enjoys cozy time with her humans and has a soft spot for quiet, comforting company.
While Lyric can be a bit jumpy around loud or unexpected noises, her desire to be near her family always wins out. She’s recently discovered the joy of exploring new nooks and crannies in her foster home, proving that age is just a number for this curious girl.
Lyric enjoys the finer feline things in life—chasing laser toys, indulging in catnip, and relaxing in peaceful surroundings. She does well around calm, low-energy dogs, keeping her distance but remaining polite and curious. She’s even gone nose-to-nose with a Great Dane/Lab mix just to say hello. While she currently tolerates other pets, Lyric would truly shine in a quiet home, ideally as an only cat or possibly with another calm, older feline friend. Dogs are okay as long as they’re mellow and respectful.

Your application simply shows that you are interested in an animal; it is not a binding contract.
Meet the Pet
Your chosen animal’s foster home will reach out to you to discuss the pet you are interested in. If applicable, schedule a meet and greet!
Sign Adoption Contract
An Applications team member will send the electronic adoption contract to you to be signed. They will also request adoption fee payment.
Take the Pet Home
Once adoption agreement and payment are complete, you take your new pet home!
