Why I need a new home

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I have my wife's two cats in need of being rehomed. I will complete a second form for Sophie.

My wife passed away on October 1, 2025. Care is not working out for me. In addition, my daughter is coming to stay with me and she is allergic to both cats. Daughter tried to visit me and use prescribed allergy medication. I had to put daughter into a hotel. I'll also have to replace all of the carpeting in the house.

Lavern is 16 years old and has never been outside (except to visit vet or move). She was a wonderful lap cat for my wife and for her next owner.
