This is Hope—and that’s exactly what we have for her.
Hope is an incredibly sweet, loving girl who is ready for her forever home. She came to us after a heartbreaking call from a veterinarian. Hope’s family of nearly five years brought her in to be euthanized due to litter box issues. Thankfully, the vet reached out to us, and Hope was given the second chance she so deeply deserves.
Since coming into our care, Hope has been with her foster for 8 months and has had no litter box issues at all—even after the stress of being surrendered from the only home she had known since she was a kitten. This tells us that something in her previous environment likely contributed to the problem, not Hope herself.
Hope is currently fostered in her own room, as she is not a fan of other cats and prefers to be the only feline in the home. She previously lived with small dogs, and while we can’t say for certain if that played a role in her past challenges, we believe she could do well with calm, cat-compatible dogs.
She is front declawed (she came to us that way) and would truly thrive in a home where she can get plenty of love, attention, and companionship. Due to being declawed she needs to be an inside only cat. Our hearts are set on finding Hope a home soon so she doesn’t have to spend most of her days alone—she has so much affection to give.
Do you feel like Hope might be the missing piece in your home?

Max Raven Animal Rescue is a no-kill, non-profit, foster-based animal rescue. Our mission is to save lives and rescue animals in Nebraska and surrounding states with urgent rescue needs. We strive to create a safe and loving environment for discarded and special needs animals.
Our goal is to go from a strictly foster-based rescue to expanding our home base to an acreage, to further our vision of building a sanctuary for animals deemed unadoptable. Giving them a safe and loving home to live out the rest of their days in the care of Max Raven Animal Rescue. We want to provide a happy and loving home for all the animals that come across our path and do our due diligence to save as many animals as possible from euthanasia.
Max Raven Animal Rescue is a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization.
