This adorable puppy is off to a fantastic start thanks to an amazing foster family who has
been doing a wonderful job introducing her to all the important “puppy things” — new people, new experiences, and the beginnings of good manners. We’re so grateful to our fosters for giving Potrero such a strong foundation.
Like all puppies, she’s still learning and growing. Her future family should be ready to commit to ongoing training, daily exercise, and continued socialization so she can grow into a confident, well-adjusted adult dog. With patience, structure, and love, she’s going to be an incredible companion.
Please be home every 2 to 3 hours during this developmental and socialization stage.
Let’s plan a meet and greet with Potrero! Fill out a questionnaire and a volunteer will contact you.
Estimated adult weight is about 45-50 pounds, no guarantees.

Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue dog! Whether you adopt from Rocket Dog or another rescue group, the fact is you will save a life. Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! The first step in our adoption process is completing an adoption questionnaire here: https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/
From there, you will be contacted by a volunteer to talk more about what you're looking for and if the dog you're interested in might be a good fit.
