My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A 5-year-old female black lab-mix.

Sophie is a sweet, quiet, and well-mannered black lab mix looking for a stable, long-term home.

She is affectionate without being demanding, enjoys relaxing near her person, and loves to cuddle. Sophie is not a loud dog and does well in calm environments. Around other dogs, she tends to be more independent. She may stay close to her person or calmly explore on her own rather than engage in high-energy play.

Sophie has lived in an 1-bedroom apartment with 1 adult. Her experience with children is unknown.

She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and medical records are available.

Sophie does have separation anxiety, so she would do best in a home where someone is around most of the day, such as a work-from-home household, retired individual, or someone with a flexible schedule.

Due to a recent relocation and a work schedule that requires extended on-site hours I am unable to take care of her. Daycare and boarding has become expensive for me.
