My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sage has been with HART since June after arriving from Hartwell, Ohio with her sister Rosemary. While Rosemary grew quickly, Sage stayed petite, giving her an extra dose of kitten charm.

Sage is a domestic shorthair black female, approximately 8 months old, with an estimated date of birth of April 22, 2025. She is friendly and affectionate, especially when she feels safe. When she is nervous, she loves being held and will happily snuggle in for hugs. On her own terms, she will also curl up next to you on the couch to relax and keep you company.

She enjoys playtime with crinkle balls and jingly toys and has a gentle, sweet energy. Sage eats Purina One dry kitten food and Fancy Feast kitten pate. She previously had an intestinal parasite that has been fully treated and resolved.

Sage does well with other cats and kittens, as well as quiet dogs and respectful children. She is ready to settle into a loving forever home where she can continue to grow in confidence and affection.

If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.

All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
