JellyBean is quiet, courageous, and learning that the world isn't so scary after all. In fact, she recently showed us that she even knows sit, down, AND roll over! She is a gentle, reserved girl who may take a moment to feel comfortable-but underneath that softness is a dog who wants connection. The kennel environment has been tough for her, and it's made her harder to see for who she really is. Outside of that space, JellyBean shows curiosity, intelligence, and a growing confidence that's incredibly rewarding to witness!
She's smart, knows her basic commands, and responds beautifully to calm encouragement (and snacks-those help). JellyBean isn't hiding from the world; she's learning how to trust it. With a patient, loving person by her side, she has all the potential to truly shine. Come see her tricks in person!

Adoption viewing hours are from 8:00an-4:30 pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 12pm-2pm. You must have a valid drivers license to apply. We do not do home checks. Adoption fees are $35 for dogs/pups, $25 cats/kittens and $150 for horses.
Effective Monday, August 17,2015, LAFAYETTE ANIMAL SHELTER & CARE CENTER will begin accepting VISA, MASTERCARD and DISCOVER credit cards. There will be a 2.5% surcharge/convenience fee added to your total. This fee is not greater than our cost of acceptance.
Adoption viewing hours are from 8:00an-4:30 pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 12pm-2pm. You must have a valid drivers license to apply. We do not do home checks. Adoption fees are $35 for dogs/pups, $25 cats/kittens and $150 for horses.
