Abby is an older kitty who has always been able to live life on her own terms. She could thrive in a home where she can take her time to make friends at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her true personality shines through. She loves to be petted but doesn't like to be held. At this stage of her life, she will need to be indoor-only, and if she goes outside, she will never be caught or come back inside. All adoptions are through application. Dogs generally are adopted with an $250 fee. Cats adoption fee is $125. All pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, wormed, heartworm tested. All dogs are microchipped with Smart Tag chips. A 14 day trial period is granted for each adoption.

Riverside Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit organization which is dedicated to placing homeless or unwanted pets into loving, forever homes. We were formed in 2003 because of the overwhelming number of homeless pets in our area. Since then we have adopted out hundreds of dogs/puppies and ats/kittens, along with several other small critters. We are a no kill shelter so everyone gets a chance for a forever home. Our shelter is financed solely by donations, we are not government funded, and we are staffed by volunteers.
