We are elderly. We got this puppy from a neighbor to help with our highly anxious senior dog when we left for doctors offices etc. Our large 9 yr old dog has separation anxiety bad. The new pup was tiny and adorable. I didn't even ask what breed she was. We have always had low shedding dogs. Because her mother is full blooded pug, Poppi sheds a lot. A lot. We are not use to that. We have never allowed her on the furniture. She is energetic, loves to play and is very sweet. Her energy does not match our old senior dogs laid back self. Poppi is sassy-a great watchdog. Sleeps in her kennel at night. Is use to a dog door. Inside outside dog. We need a pet with less energy. She loves to ride in the car. We love her-honestly-she just adds a lot of stress to our senior selves.
