Hi, I’m Haiku, your quiet little shadow and true couch potato. My favorite hobbies include napping, gazing out the window at birds, and sitting close to my person. I may be shy at first and need a little time to warm up, especially around loud noises or sudden movements, but once I trust you, I am incredibly loyal and loving.
I adore being pet and will gently rub against your hands and feet until you give me attention. Sometimes I will even give you a little lick to remind you I am there. I am not very food motivated, but I am very people motivated. I just want to be near you. I have wonderful manners and will simply walk away if I feel overwhelmed.
I previously lived with another cat for many years and may do fine with a calm cat friend again. My perfect home is quiet and patient, with someone who understands that earning my trust is worth the wait.
If you are looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will happily keep you company on the couch, I am your guy.
