My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cross posted for a sister rescue in Pennsylvania:

Meet Benji, the ultimate playmate and companion! This playful and friendly boy is always up for a good time, whether it's chasing after toys or learning how to explore with you. But don't be fooled by his fun-loving nature, Benji is also incredibly smart and loyal, always eager to please and quick to learn new tricks. He gets along well with dogs his age and size, and he's even a good sport around cat friends too! Benji is the perfect addition to a calm household with older kids over 12, where he can be the center of attention and showered with all the love and care he deserves. With his playful spirit and loving heart, Benji is sure to bring joy and laughter to his new family. Could that be you?

Benji requires a securely fenced yard. An application and home visit required before a meet and greet. Benji is being fostered in Carlisle, PA

Go meet their pets

Our shelties can be seen by appointment at his/her foster home. Contact Linda at 410-515-7029 if you see a sheltie on our website that you would like to meet. An application and home visit are required before adopting.

More about this rescue

NCSR is a non profit breed rescue group. We take in shelties of all ages from shelters and owner turn-ins. We are not a shelter, all our rescues live in foster homes and are evaluated for temperament. Shelties loose their homes for many reasons; moving, new baby, owner can no longer care for it are among the most common. Our goal is to place the dog in a new home where it will be loved, cared for and will live out the rest of it's life.
