Abby never stopped being ours — and now she needs us again.
After the heartbreaking loss of her person (who was also one of our dedicated PMAR volunteers), Abby’s world changed overnight. The grief has been heavy, and losing her constant companion has been especially hard for this loyal girl.
Abby is now safe in a loving foster home in Maine and ready for a fresh start of her own. She’s a sweet senior, about 9½ years old and 45 lbs, wonderful with kids and adults, and happiest as the queen of the castle — she’s looking for a home with no other pets where she can soak up all the love.
This gentle girl has given so much loyalty in her life. She deserves a warm, quiet home, cozy naps, and someone who will choose her for all her golden years — especially this holiday season.
All our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary.
Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies.
Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada.
Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an application.
