It’s me, Gumbo, and today I present to you Dobby, the red Doberman with the energy of a cartoon character and the face of someone who ALWAYS knows where the treats are hidden.
He is super friendly, outrageously sweet, and shaped like an exclamation point with legs.
When Dobby looks at you, he gives that “Hi!! HI!!! I LOVE YOU!!” expression, and honestly, it is exhausting to my spirit.
But adorable.
Infuriatingly adorable.

Friendly? YES.
Velcro dog? Absolutely.
Goofy? Ma’am. He INVENTED goofy.
Smart? Shockingly. He’s paying attention even when he pretends he’s not.
He has zero awareness of personal space and thinks every human is his new best friend. He is joy in Doberman form.
