My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Junie is a brown tabby girl with a quietly endearing personality. Playful and independent, she’s happiest exploring or batting around a toy. Junie purrs the moment you acknowledge her, though she’ll politely squirm if held for too long.

When she first arrived at her foster home, Junie was shut down and hesitant to connect. After gaining her trust her personality blossomed.

Affectionately called “June Bug,” she’s gentle with her foster siblings and is growing more confident around the household dogs. Junie is a brave, adventurous little lady with a big heart.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group. We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Neuter/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low-cost S/N clinics.
