Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Eowyn is a 5-month-old female German Shepherd puppy with a brave heart and a bright future. This sweet girl recently survived being hit by a car and is now on the road to recovery with excellent veterinary care and an even better prognosis.
Despite her rough start, Eowyn is doing wonderfully—she’s alert, eating well, and showing just how resilient puppies can be. She has a fracture to her left hind leg that’s being carefully managed with a splint, medication, and regular vet rechecks. Her doctors expect a great recovery with no long-term impact on her life expectancy.
Eowyn will need a calm, caring home (or foster) that can help her heal over the next several weeks. This includes:
Keeping her activity low while her leg heals
Helping with scheduled splint changes and follow-up vet visits
Giving her prescribed medications and lots of reassurance
Because she’s still healing, Eowyn isn’t ready for playgroups yet, but she can meet other dogs in a low-key, gentle way. True to her breed and age, she’s curious, sweet, and eager to bond—she just needs a little extra TLC right now.
If you’re looking to make a huge difference in a young dog’s life, Eowyn is ready to reward you with loyalty, love, and that classic German Shepherd devotion. Her journey may have started with hardship, but with the right home, her story is going to be a beautiful one.
