Hi, I’m Romaine (yes, like the lettuce—but way cuter). I’m almost one year old, and I’ve been working very hard on my growth! I used to be a little unsure of the world, but these days I’m feeling braver, more curious, and much more confident—especially with kind hoomans and my fellow foster cat friends. I love to run, play, and chase anything that moves. Feather toys? Wand toys? Absolutely yes. I’ve also perfected what my foster momma calls my “Halloween cat pose”—you know, the dramatic arched back with the big tailed personality. I’m silly, expressive, and always keeping things interesting. One of my favorite hobbies is bathroom supervision. I don’t know why bathrooms are so fascinating, but I take my role there very seriously. I’m also a big explorer and will happily follow you around the house just to see what you’re up to. At night, though? That’s when my soft side really comes out. I love cuddling close, making biscuits, and settling in with my favorite hooman. I’m affectionate, loyal, and I really enjoy being near my people once I know I’m safe. I’m looking for an adopter who is patient, attentive, and loving—someone who understands that trust is something we build together. I’ve already come such a long way, and with the right person, I know I’ll keep growing up into the confident, snuggly, curious girl I’m meant to be. Download our questionnaire form and email or fax it (filled out, dated and signed). Or complete one in-person during our weekly events.
Interview
One of our volunteers will contact you in 24-48 hours to discuss your questionnaire and answer any questions you might have.
Approve Application
After your initial conversation, our volunteer will talk with your references and contact you for any clarification or further discussion.
Meet the Pet
Typically meet and greets take place during our weekly adoption events but sometimes they can happen in a foster home or at a special event.
Sign Adoption Contract
Initial all points and sign on our 1 page contract.
Pay Fee
Adoption fees range from $75-150, depending on the cat.
Take the Pet Home
Pose with your new family member for a "Happy Tails" photo before bringing them home.
