Meet Nugget, a charming little Chihuahua/Terrier mix, 7 years old and around 8 lb., whose owner surrendered him to a very crowded shelter. He has come to Misty Eyes to live in a foster home with a family while in search of his forever home. Nugget is a friendly, happy, playful little dog. Like many of his breed, he can be rather vocal, but is a great lap dog and companion. $200 adoption fee for adult dogs; $225 adoption fee for puppies; $180 adoption fee for senior/special needs dogs. Cats are $125.00 for kittens and $85.00 for adults. All pets are current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped. Application process.

All of our dogs live in foster homes. Many cats/kittens live in foster homes, and we do have some cats and older kittens in residence in the Kitty City building at our facility. We have some of our adoptable dogs on-site on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-1pm.
