Star is an 8-week old female lab mix with a truly one-of-a-kind marking - a perfect five-point star right on her chest. Because of this, her name couldn't be more fitting. Some people believe a star marking is a sign that a puppy will "guide" or bring joy to a family lucky enough to call her their own.

Star is a gentle, thoughtful puppy. She's a thinker - she doesn't rush in new situations. Instead, she prefers to sit back, observe what's going on, and then slowly and carefully investigate when she is ready. Because of her start in life, she has a few trust issues, but her heart is incredibly deep. Once she gets to know someone, that person becomes her entire world. Her bond is deep, and loyal.

Star is looking for a loving forever home where she can feel safe, grow confident and shine. This is a very special puppy, and the star on her chest is a beautiful reminder of just how unique she is. Star is meant to bring light, love, and joy to the right family.

We are a small all volunteer/foster based rescue. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an adoption application. We will then review your application, including checking references. Before final approval, we do require an interview and home check (both of which can be done virtually).
