My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bunker — A Loyal Rottie Ready for His Forever Home

Bunker is a 1-year-old Rottweiler who is looking for a forever home with someone who truly understands and appreciates the heart of this incredible breed. He is a true Rottie through and through — loyal, devoted, protective of his people and home, and an absolute love bug once he feels safe.

Because of his past experiences, Bunker can be nervous when meeting new people and may startle easily. With proper introductions and a calm, confident handler, he does very well — and once you’re “his person,” his loyalty is unmatched.

What makes Bunker special:

• Extremely loyal and deeply bonded to his people

• A total love bug who adores affection

• A goofy, playful personality that shines once he’s comfortable

• Loves other dogs and even does well with cats

• Housebroken

• Crate trained

• Does well meeting new people when introduced thoughtfully

Bunker has been working hard in his foster home, and the progress he’s made is a true testament to his intelligence and resilience. His foster family has done an incredible job building his confidence, and he is ready to continue that journey with the right person.

Bunker’s ideal home:

• An experienced dog owner, ideally with Rottweiler or working-breed experience

• A calm, confident handler willing to continue confidence-building and training

• A structured, predictable environment

• An adult-only home

• Someone patient who understands that trust takes time — and is worth it

Bunker isn’t looking for just any home — he’s looking for his person. The one who will give him stability, guidance, and love… and in return receive unwavering loyalty and devotion.

If you’re ready for a dog who will stand by your side, make you laugh with his goofiness, and love you fiercely, Bunker may be the one you’ve been waiting for.

Comprehensive Care: Our dogs receive thorough veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and preventative treatments, ensuring they are healthy and ready for their new homes.

Choosing to adopt from a foster-based rescue
like Rdo comes with unique benefits:
Personalized Care: Our dogs live in foster homes where they receive individualized attention, training, and socialization. This helps us understand their personalities and needs, making it easier to match them with the right family.
Behavioral Insights: Foster families can provide detailed information about a dog's behavior, preferences, and any special needs, helping you make an informed decision.
Smooth Transition: Dogs from foster homes are often better adjusted to home environments, making the transition to their forever homes smoother and less stressful.
Support System: Our foster families and volunteers are dedicated to providing ongoing support and advice to adopters, ensuring a successful adoption experience.
