Maple — Sweet, Silly & Full of Cozy Charm
Maple is a beautiful, bunny-soft girl with the gentlest soul. She is incredibly affectionate and loves to be pet and held, happily soaking up attention whenever it’s offered. Sweet, calm, and easygoing, Maple is a professional napper—but don’t let her laid-back vibe fool you, she also enjoys playtime, especially when her beloved llama toy is involved.
One of Maple’s most endearing traits is her hunting meow. When she proudly carries a toy in her mouth, she announces her success from another room with an excited, unique meow—letting her humans know she caught something important. Even better, she loves depositing her “prizes” on her foster mom’s bed while she’s sleeping. Maple also enjoys getting treats, lounging nearby, and hilariously sitting on her foster mom’s lap while she’s on the toilet—clearly, no moment is meant to be spent alone.
Maple is calm and adaptable and would do well in just about any household. She could thrive as a solo cat as long as her humans are around often to give her plenty of love and playtime. That said, she would truly shine in a home with another kitty friend to socialize with. She would love to be adopted with her foster sister Elsa, who she was rescued with—they enjoy playing together and curling up for cozy naps.
Maple has met many humans and is very at ease with everyone—she’s truly the life of the party. While she hasn’t met other pets or children yet, her easygoing nature suggests she would likely do well with gentle, respectful kids and other animals. She likes to be close to her people (even if not always directly on your lap), and she has a knack for knowing exactly when it’s dinnertime… and breakfast too. We think she might actually be able to read a clock.
