Shrimp — Tiny Name, Giant Heart
Shrimp truly lives up to her name in the cutest way possible—small, sweet, and completely irresistible. This darling girl loves to play, especially with her favorite toys: string toys, crinkle balls, and mouse toys (though fair warning… she’s famous for pulling the tails off!). You’ll often find her wrestling or chasing toys with her best buddy, Montero, and the two make an adorable, perfectly balanced pair. When playtime winds down, Shrimp happily switches gears and seeks out her humans for lap time, pets, and biscuit-making sessions—sometimes right on your leg.
Because she is still young, Shrimp will need to be adopted into a home with another kitty friend to socialize and grow with. She would absolutely love to be adopted with her foster sibling Montero, whom she adores and seeks out for both play and companionship. Their dynamic is especially sweet—Montero can play a bit rough, and Shrimp gently helps keep him grounded and teaches him manners. She has done wonderfully with cats of all ages in foster care and would likely do well with gentle, respectful children in a loving family home.
Shrimp has a calm, gentle play style and has never been aggressive—no biting, striking, or rough behavior here. She’s just a little sweetheart who plays nicely and knows when it’s time to relax. When she wants attention, she’ll lock eyes with you and stare deep into your soul with her adorable little face, making it impossible to say no.
Once her kitten energy is spent, Shrimp transforms into a full-on cuddle bug. She loves sitting next to her people or curling up in a lap, purring away while supervising work from beside the computer. Her foster mom would be over the moon to see her stay with Montero, but most of all, Shrimp is ready for a forever home filled with love, snuggles, and plenty of toys to (eventually) destroy.
