Why I need a new home

Does not get along with other pet

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lion was a semi-socialized stray in Kansas City. We trapped, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped him in spring 2025 and brought him with us when we moved to Ohio in late July, intending for him to be an outdoor farm cat. He did not get along with our other outdoor cats, so we brought him indoors to foster and find the right home. He has made huge progress but needs a specific fit.
Lion strongly bonds with women, so we are seeking a female adopter who is patient and affectionate. He has food anxiety and vocalizes around meals. He must be fed raw cat food (currently Viva, about $50/month); he vomits dry food and refuses canned food. A vet visit would be needed to transition him.
He is an athletic hunter who loves feather wand toys, a cuddly lap cat who sleeps in bed, but also respects space. He should be an only cat or live with very docile cats due to dominance. You can drop him off to us when you take your big vacation. A vet relationship and ability to afford vet care.
