Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Melody!
This lovely lady came into our care as a stray October 2025 and is looking for her forever home now! She's an incredibly sweet and curious cat who likes to be near people. When she's not exploring new areas, she's rubbing on your legs and following you around! Melody doesn't mind being held by people she trusts and would likely make someone a very sweet lap kitty. She is fond of lickable treats and really likes the crunchy ones with chewy centers too!
Melody seems to do well with other cats in our care. We haven't seen her with dogs. She is good with kids of all ages, especially when they are gentle with her.

Melody is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Check out all of the pets on our website and or stop in to meet them at the shelter.

2.

Submit Application

Submit an adoption application and wait for an adoption counselor to contact you about your approval.

3.

Approve Application

Come in to meet the pet and make sure they are a good fit. If you have a dog in the home we require dog to dog meet and greets.

4.

Take the Pet Home

Once you have found the best fit you will take the pet home for a two week foster trial period.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the end of the two week period, come back into the shelter to finalize your adoption and enjoy your new best friend!

Shelter is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-4:30. We also participate is various adoption events throughout the year.
