It is the easiest way to start the communication and adoption process.

Meet Brea, a sweet, snuggly little house hippo with a serious case of Velcro-dog energy. If you’re wondering where Brea is, the answer is almost always right behind you, announced by the adorable pitter-patter of her paws. She loves her people deeply and wants to be included in whatever you’re doing- especially if it involves the couch or the bed.
Brea has a moderate energy level and enjoys leisurely walks where stopping to sniff is highly encouraged. She also loves yard time and playful bursts of zooming around, but she’s more “happy explorer” than wild child. She walks well on leash, stays close when off leash, and is an excellent car companion. Hopping in and out on her own and riding along calmly, sometimes with her head resting on the center console like a tiny co-pilot.
At home, Brea is affectionate, gentle, and endlessly charming. She loves squeaky toys, shares nicely, and plays sweetly. She may try to interrupt you leaving with a gentle tug at your socks or shirt sleeves while you’re trying to get dressed. She’s still polishing up her house-training skills and will need a little patience and consistency, but she’s learning daily. Brea greets everyone with a wagging tail and happy energy and would thrive in a home full of love, attention, snuggles, and ideally another dog to be her built-in best friend.

More about this rescue

PittieLove Rescue Inc. is an all-volunteer, foster-home-based rescue dedicated to the care, understanding, and adoption of the American Pit Bull Terrier. As one of the most abused and misunderstood “breeds” of all time, PittieLove’s number one goal is for our rescued dogs to never suffer from neglect or abuse again, carefully placing them into loving homes where they will be ambassadors for the breed.
Working closely with MA shelters, MA animal control facilities and fellow rescue organizations, we help as many dogs in need as we have foster homes for. Before the dogs come into our rescue, they undergo a thorough temperament evaluation. If they pass, they are then placed into loving foster homes where they are provided with quality veterinary care, initial training and lots of socialization (with both people and animals of all ages). Our dogs are up to date on their vaccinations (age appropriate), spayed/neutered and micro-chipped prior to adoption.
