My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My wife found Espresso lying in the middle of the road one morning back in April after dropping the kids off at school. His paws were bloody and he was really banged up seemingly as if he'd jumped/been tossed out of a moving vehicle. We took him in and nursed him up, but his front right leg was crippled. Turns out his shoulder had been shattered and he had no use of the leg at all. After going back and forth, we opted to have it amputated as he was using it while walking and we didn't want to risk him getting an infection from an open wound. Despite having only three legs, he has the energy of a young pup. It hasn't slowed him down at all and he still goes full speed as much as he can. He's not gentle but not rough. He's just a puppy. We've tried training him but my wife has been struggling with depression and hasn't had the time/drive to devote to him that he needs. We're looking to find him a loving home that he needs. He's very affectionate and loving just needs TLC.
