Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet your new BFF's!
Linguine and Luca are a bonded pair looking for a very special home, one that understands that love sometimes takes time. Both cats are shy and fearful at first and have had a tough time adjusting to shelter life. New environments and new people can feel overwhelming for them, so they will need a patient, calm adopter who is willing to let them move at their own pace. Expect a slow acclimation period, these are not cats who will immediately come out to greet visitors. With time, consistency and gentle care, Linguine and Luca do begin to warm up. Once they feel safe, their sweet personalities start to shine through in quiet, tender ways. They have no experience with children or other animals, so any introductions would need to be very slow and carefully managed. A quiet home with minimal activity would be ideal. These are very shy cats initially but for the right person, giving them the time and space they need will be incredibly rewarding. Adopting Linguine and Luca means offering them patience, understanding and a safe place to finally exhale.

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
