Hello friends, my name is Chipmunk! I`m a very handsome male tabby around two years in age, and I`m waiting for the purr-fect human to come along and adopt me! So how did I end up at the shelter? Well, I was actually caught in a trap that was meant to catch an opossum! I couldn`t help it though because I was just hungry and looking for a meal, and there it was inside the trap. I was brought to the shelter where I could be evaluated and kept safe, in the hopes that my person would come and save me, but nobody ever showed up. So now I`m available for adoption! I`m a big boy, which just means that there`s more of me to love, and I have the biggest cheeks--which is how I got my name `Chipmunk`. I`m just a little timid, but that`s because I`m in an unfamiliar place with lots of other cats. I`m sure that once I`m adopted, my friendly purr-sonality will blossom. I must be an indoor-only cat to keep me safe from the many outside dangers that could hurt me. Lots of toys, a friend to play with, and a comfy bed would be enough to keep me happy and content. The fee for adoption is $50, cash only. We have many great pets available for adoption at our shelter and during our offsite adoption events. There is no resident location requirement to adopt a pet from us. We have a friendly staff that will assist you in locating a compatible pet for your home and family.
