My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Salma is a lovely young cat, about a year and a half old, who has already done the hard work of raising her babies. Now it’s her turn to be cared for, cherished, and welcomed into a calm, loving home where she can enjoy the cozy housecat life she deserves.

Shy at first, Salma is the kind of girl who blooms with a little patience. Her curiosity helps her come out of her shell, and once she feels safe, her affectionate side shines through. She enjoys gentle pets, leans into attention, and is comfortable with all kinds of handling, even being picked up for a cuddle.

Salma is also food‑motivated, which can make early bonding and socialization easier as she gets to know new people. Because she’s a timid soul, she’s looking for a quieter home with adults or children 13 and up who can give her the space and understanding she needs to feel confident.

If you’re hoping for a sweet, soft‑spoken companion who will reward your patience with trust and love, Salma may be the perfect addition to your family.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Lost Our Home Pet Rescue requires each potential adopter to fill out an application. We also ask our adopters to sign an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee at the time of adoption. These requirements help us to ensure a positive outcome for everyone involved, including our pets, as well as to continue to help other needy pets. We will also do periodic follow-ups and offer help with any post-adoption issues that might arise.
