My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Baloo...Your Gentle Giant! Looking for a big-hearted companion to fill your home with love and cuddles? Meet Baloo, a 2-year-old neutered male large mixed breed who’s a 110-pound teddy bear! Baloo is the definition of love. He adores everyone he meets — people, pets, and even strangers become instant friends. His gentle nature and affectionate personality make him the perfect addition to any loving home. Whether it’s going for walks, playing in the yard, or snuggling on the couch, Baloo is happiest when he’s with his people. He’s looking for a forever family who will cherish him as much as he’ll cherish them. Baloo has graduated the Dawgz Adapt program and will be adopted directly from the program at the prison in Munising. If you are interested in adopting Baloo, please find him on the website under "Available Dogs" and fill out an application!
***We will be accepting applications on Baloo for 24 hours until 1:25pm on Wednesday 12/31/25
